Vanessa | Maternity Session

I thoroughly enjoy each and every one of my sessions, but this one in particular made me feel very fulfilled! It had a fine art, classic style that has been prevalent in magazines and art books for decades, and it was such a joy to create these timeless images.

Vanessa’s session had two setups to accommodate her two different looks.

This form-fitting mermaid gown was not only stunning on this momma, but also versatile. It’s a two-piece that we were able to swap out for a flown gown to create the gown toss look. The Aleksandra Whiting Photography studio closet is full of gorgeous pieces like the ones you see in this session for clients to choose from.

When Vanessa first visited the studio, we thought that red would be a great color for her skin. She had chosen a different gown, but I received a shipment of studio pieces just before her session and hung this ombre beauty up next to the background in case she wanted to try it. I’m so glad that she did because it looks absolutely stunning on her!

My artistic heart is so full looking at the finished photos from this session. These are the looks that will never go out of style :)
