I'm Aleksandra! I absolutely adore what I do, capturing precious moments of new moms and their bundles of joy. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm a proud mom of six incredible kids. My days start with plenty of life-saving, fail-proof coffee, which I usually savor while one or more of my children cling to me. Balancing motherhood and a career is undoubtedly my greatest challenge, but it's also my greatest reward!

I picked up my camera in 2009, and have had experience with EVERY type of photography out there. My moment of epiphany happened the day that I noticed that I do not have many photos of myself, or of my mother, when I was younger. There are no images to compare my babies to, no photographs of me in my mom’s belly to see if we carried our babies similarly. In that moment, I realized that images are not “just photos,” but priceless snapshots of moments in time that we can never get back.
From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to be a mom. I had my first baby at the age of 20, and I will never forget the moment I first laid eyes on my daughter. Right then, I knew that there was a love in this world that I never knew existed! It was a time of great joy, but also a time of struggle for me, as I navigated through turbulent hormonal changes, unbelievable anxiety, and depression. Thankfully, I was able to recover, and now I share my experiences with others. Being one of the first in my group of friends to have a baby, I became the go-to person for baby advice, which made me feel incredibly honored and useful. I feel a sense of joy when I’m able to connect with other moms and show them that they are not alone in their journey. Even greater is the feeling that I get when I share tricks and tips that help them along the way!
When I was asked one day what I really wanted to do with my camera, I knew that specializing in maternity and newborn photography was my passion. Although it was a significant risk to step away from other sources of income, I knew that this was my second calling.
Now, many years and several thousands of dollars in investment later, I am finally doing it! My studio now serves the sole purpose of photographing motherhood and babies, and it is genuinely a dream come true!
