Maternity photos are priceless. It is my goal to make all mommies feel like goddesses when they are in my workspace. I want my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed, knowing that their images will be stunning, and will capture the beauty of their pregnancy glow.

Newborn

The first few weeks of a baby’s life are filled with moments that we can never get back. Newborn sessions are an opportunity to capture those moments and preserve them for decades to come. I am accredited in newborn safety. I have the patience and ability to make newborns comfortable during sessions, and am highly proficient in editing out any skin flaws in young babies, such as baby acne or purple hands and toes. Of course, I’m happy to edit around any details that parents want to preserve.

Milestone

Working with children is a passion of mine. Children change so much in such a short time, and I know the feeling of wanting to freeze each milestone in time. The purpose of these sessions is to do just that. A lot of preparation goes into making the sessions as smooth as possible, but I understand that children have varying temperaments, and I find the beauty in each mood that is captured by the camera. I've worked with Aleksandra while she was doing a newborn shoot and I was so amazed! The female client came into her studio and the baby was fussy and wide awake. Aleksandra quickly brought out a soothing noise machine and helped the mama calm her baby down before bundling her little baby up in a cute swaddling blanket. Then, she rocked the baby in her arms and got a pacifier from the mother to help calm her. Then she applied slight pressure to the bottom of the baby's foot to help keep the baby soothed and asleep before setting her softly down and beginning to shoot. Aleksandra Whiting Photography offers a HIGHLY personalized experience. From our first consultation chat, to planning your set and outfits, all the way through the actual session and image selection, I’m here to tailor each step in the process to your personality and vision.

Communication is very important to me. I like to get to know my clients a little bit before we even begin working together, and below you’ll find some information to help you do the same!

Schedule a complimentary consultation chat to make sure my style is what you’re looking for.
Pick your preferred date and time for your session.
Receive a Sneak Peak of your images within 24 hours.
Set up a Proofing Gallery where you’ll be able to select images that you would like edited.
Receive your gorgeous photographs and enjoy them for generations!

On the day of your session, I’ll be ready to guide you through a smooth, comfortable experience. My hope is that by the time we meet in my workspace, you’ll be relaxed, knowing that you are not only in good hands, but that you are going to get beautiful images that you’ll cherish for a lifetime!

One of my biggest missions is for everyone to have a relaxing experience. From the self-conscious mommy-to-be to the worried parent, I’m here to make life a little easier.

I have been known to go above and beyond for my clients and their little ones. Once, on the day of a session, a mom nervously arrived on set with her fussy, wide-awake baby. The conditions weren’t exactly ideal for a newborn photography session! With her permission, I brought out a white noise machine to soothe the little one, and bundled her up I one of the adorable swaddle blankets I have in my studio. I have been formally trained in newborn safety, so mama was comfortable allowing me to rock her to sleep. It was a pretty smooth session after that!

I have been a photographers since 2009

My career didn’t start because I happened to have a camera and wanted to make a quick buck. I actively pursued what I truly believe to be a passion of mine, and have since found my niche working with expectant mommies and their growing families.

the Process

Before we even schedule your preferred date and time, we’ll set up a time to chat. This is the chance for you to tell me all about your vision for your photography session, and get answers to any questions that you might have. It’s also our chance to make sure that we are a good fit before deciding to work together.

Next, I’ll e-mail you with the next steps to confirm your session. After that, the fun begins! Together, we will plan out your session and you can be as involved as you’d like. If you’ve got your entire session planned out, I’m here to facilitate. If this is your first time in a photography studio and you just want to show up and be glamorized, I can take care of everything for you, down to the outfits you’ll need!

On the day of your session, I’ll have everything prepared and you can just relax and enjoy the experience. Let me take care of the rest!

Once we have wrapped up your session, I’ll prepare a sneak peek for you to view within a few days. After that, we’ll work on sending a Proofing Gallery, where you’ll be able to review the raw images and pick the ones that you want me edit. As soon as I have the images edited and ready, I’ll send them to you to download, and/or purchase prints, canvases and albums.

The final and most important step?

You get to enjoy your gorgeous photos for generations!
